I was invited to discern a vocation as a teacher at this private Catholic school. It is a beautiful monastic spanish style campus with a warm spirit.
I was able to substitute for Spanish and the 3rd grade. I spent most of my time with the technology department developing promotional videos for the school's website.

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I could be found greeting you at the Inn's private golf course.

co-workers older than me.

Clean Water Environmental
Grand Rapids,MI
A small for-profit that originated as an off-shoot of the non-profit "Koinonia".
We worked to develop a new water treatment chemical and it's branding for domestic and international sales.
I mostly focused on marketing and back-end branding. I helped clean the office, maintain daily finances and test products.
I'm not sure what it's current status is.

Week-long service trips
In highschool I was priveleged to spend two summer breaks on a week-long volunteer trips to Jamaica. It was life changing.
At Aquinas college I would continue to take advantage of service-learning opportunities. I spent my freshman year Fall Break in South Dakota learning about and serving the Lakota Indians. For my Spring Break I went to Appalachia to help with home repair and learn about the Christian Appalachian project. Years later that leap would land me a job in the summer of 2014.
